Education for All Trust (EfA), was founded in 2000. they We seek to ensure that in the UK, the building of new schools, or the refurbishment of existing schools, is done in a way that has benefits on a local, national and global level by promoting life-long learning and sustainability for everyone.
Education for All Trust specializes in providing these educational resources to schools and educational projects, in developing countries, to compliment and
support the work carried out by Government education ministries, emergency relief and development charities. they aim to provide support in Service Delivery in Education, including attendance and retention rates, examination results, gender equality and teacher working conditions through educational resource distribution. They try to achieve this in charity aid, National aid, and humanitarian aid.
Time is running out if the ‘Education for All’ goals are to be achieved by 2015. There are still 774 million illiterate adults and 75 million children out of school. We cannot afford to deny them the chance of an education a moment longer. The global community must put the policies and resources in place to ensure everyone gets an education.
National governments in poorer countries must make constitutional provision for every child to have a free, good quality, public education. All people, whatever their age, should have the opportunity to become literate and access to lifelong learning and skills training. Richer governments and international institutions must guarantee predictable and long-term development aid to education that enables poorer countries to deliver the full Education For All agenda, including adult literacy.
We demand immediate action to ensure literacy for all becomes a reality.
Write your name for those who can't. Everyone should have the chance of a good quality, free, public education that gives them a great start in life.
